March

Two down, ten to go. 2009 is flying by. I like the tempo of March which starts tomorrow. January and February disappeared among colds, struggles with the NBPTS, student papers and planning. I am relieved to be out of that and into the third month. I will use its name as my motto for the month. I should be able to walk (march) to work at least eight times in March. Among the things I want to accomplish are: get the photographs organized electronically, master the camcorder and put video clips on the blog, take more pictures and videos at school and elsewhere.

New Year, day two

The pass is open now, and the chair lifts will open at 12:30. Tons and tons of snow. Lots of wind. Temperature 19 F. on the condo deck. This will be day fourteen of sixteen straight days of skiing. The weather is perfect, and the snow is deep. Coco and Billy are smiling. Paul is putting on his snowboard boots. The lifts open in five minutes, so I've got to get dressed and head out!
